Abstract
Purpose : In general cases after the CT Brain Angio examination, DSA is used to produce threedimensional images for the purpose of diagnostic evaluation. However, the proximity of the bone and the blood vessel tissue influences the DSA quality; thus as the most recent detector coverages become more expansive, the exposure dosages of the patients under the individual methods of examination and the quality of the imaging will be evaluated.

Materials and Methods : From July 2016 to January 2017, our hospital conducted a retrospective research that experimented with three groups (Control Group A ? CT Brain Angio, Control Group B ? CT Brain DSA-helical, and Experimental Group ? CT Brain DSA-axial) of fifty patients (total of 150 participants). After the examination, We evaluated the reproducibility of the three dimensional reconstructed images obtained from cross-sectional images and subtraction data.

Results : CRN from the Anterior Communication Artery has displayed the following results: Control Group A 41.8¡¾12.4, Control Group B 26.1¡¾9.8, Experimental Group 19.3¡¾7.7. CRN from Middle Cerebral Artery has displayed the following results: Control Group A 46.7¡¾ 12.6, Control Group B 28.9¡¾9.8, Experimental Group 22.5¡¾9.2. SNR from Brain Parenchymal Tissue has displayed the following results: Control Group A 4.1¡¾0.9, Control Group B 2.2¡¾0.8, Experimental Group 2.3¡¾0.7.

Conclusion : The CNR and SNR resulted with significantly higher values than the data from conventional CT Brain Angio Test Method. However, in the qualitative evaluation of the images, both the control and the experimental groups showed similar reuslts. In the case of the threedimensional images, the dose reduction and reproducibility in the 16cm axial test were highly regarded and favored. In three dimensional reconstructional images, the volume axial scan is capable of displaying more enhanced images of blood vessels¡¯ (adjacent to the bones) volume than the the Helical scan. Moreover, the patient is able to receive a reduced dosage. All in all, We concluded that the axial scan is a more preferable and efficient method.
